What Digital Camera to Choose
Super-zoom cameras like the new Nikon Coolpix L110 look like a smaller version of a digital SLR camera. It comes with a 15x zoom lens that captures everything you see. Aside from that, it also has a 3-inch LCD at the rear that has a 460,000 dot resolution. That’s twice as much as what you’ll expect from other brands, which is actually quite shocking when you consider how reasonably priced it is. You can even see the images in bright conditions thanks to the anti-glare coating on the screen.
As for picture quality, you can’t complain about anything. The lens is wider than normal and is good for wide shots. When you zoom it to its maximum length, it reaches a high 420mm. You can keep distortion under tight control whatever range you choose. It is, after all, a Nikkor, and that speaks a lot. This is certainly once brand to consider when you’re out there looking for a good camera that is inexpensive. You get the usual face and smile detection features, and to maximize each shot, you have the Easy Auto and the smile detection technology.
You can also change your shooting styles from Standard to Vivid, B&W, Sepia, or Cyanotype. Don’t be surprised to find that you actually get a better deal with the Nikon. Sure, you don’t get all the latest features from all other expensive cameras. But who needs that? Unless you’re a professional, you don’t need all those impressive features that you actually don’t end up using. The images are always bright and colorful, and that’s something you’ll appreciate.
